Tschebull, Hamburg

The Austrian restaurant in the city centre of Hamburg has (as stated on my Instagram account) the best Schnitzel in town!
Its situation is ideal for a lunch break when on the Mönckebergstrasse, one of the biggest shopping streets in the city.

Situated in the Levante Haus, a beautiful shopping mall, Tschebull welcomes you in a modern chalet setting. Wooden floors, benches with fake fur cushions, green tablecloths and red and white napkins.

The restaurant, awarded with 15 GaultMillau points, offers typical Austrian specialities. Like already mentioned, my all-time favourite is the “Wiener Schnitzel” with green salad; potato salad and lingonberry jam on the side. Just delicious!

My favourite dessert is the “Kaiserschmarrn”, but after the Schnitzel I usually don’t manage a whole portion. Luckily my lunch company agrees with “sharing is caring”.

The Wiener Schnitzel costs 39€; a price you will be more than willing to pay once you tried it!

Tip: Either before or after your meal at the Tschebull you should take a closer look at the historical shopping mall and the shops. It’s worth it!
